The Two Riders jewelry was created by the artist Germund Paaer in the 1930s. The rider motif comes from Viking-era irons, which have been found in e.g. From Kokemäki and Kalanni. The bell rings are Paaer's own addition. They also have their prototypes in the jewelry worn by Finns and Finns' eastern relatives in the Iron Age. Anchor chain 70 cm, no lock.
This necklace is in good used condition with some natural patina visible on the chain and pendant, which serves to highlight the viking detailing. The insides of the bells have a contrasting warm colour from this patina.
