PURO large bath towel

PURO (Finnish for “brook”) is a lightly striped linen–Tencel–cotton towel. The material blend we have developed is enhanced by the waffle weave structure, which is naturally highly absorbent. The subtle stripes at the ends of the towel bring lightness and rhythm to the classic texture.

Lightweight, fast-drying towel is a practical, beautiful and ecological choice. This material, developed by Lapuan Kankurit, blends absorbent linen with Tencel. Tencel is a European innovation, which is produced from cellulosic fibres in an environmentally sustainable manner. Lapuan Kankurit combined these two fibres and developed a wonderful, soft and absorbent towel material that takes the spa experience to an entirely new level.

The large PURO bath towel is marvellously big, allowing you to wrap into it after a bath, sauna or swim with pleasure. It is large enough to lay on, and you can even get dressed in its cover if necessary. The absorbency of the towel has already been awakened during the production phase’s washing process, so it is ready to use immediately. Linen-Tencel products are highly absorbent and dry quickly, which makes them hygienic to use.

Made of comfortable and breathable natural fibres: flax, Tencel and cotton. The warp is made of Tencel Lyocell and cotton fibre and the weft is made of linen yarn. Our linen, grown with the power of rainwater in Central Europe, is 100 % traceable and Masters of Linen–certified. Tencel is a European invention, a responsibly produced wood pulp fibre. Its production is FSC–certified which guarantees that the wood used as raw material in the production is responsibly sourced.

The yarns have been spun and dyed in the EU area according to the REACH regulations.
