Designed by Finnish illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä, the METSIKKÖ blanket brings the quiet beauty of Nordic forests into your home. Woven from 100% pure new wool, this blanket is wonderfully fluffy, softly textured, and comfortable even against bare skin.

METSIKKÖ is woven and finished in Lapua, Finland, using high-quality wool yarn spun from certified Wool Integrity NZ fibre, with a durable warp made from South American wool spun in Europe. Every key stage of production—from product development and material sourcing to weaving, finishing, and inspection—is carried out in Lapua at Lapuan Kankurit’s own weaving mill, ensuring exceptional quality and traceability.

Sewing is completed either in Lapuan Kankurit’s own weaving mill in Finland or at their subsidiary sewing facility in Lithuania, while all accessories are sourced from Europe, primarily Finland. This fully controlled production process reflects a strong commitment to responsibility, transparency, and long-lasting design.

Care Instructions
Wash only when necessary; airing outdoors often refreshes the wool naturally. Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C or dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth at max. 150°C.
