This vintage Kermansavi kukkopilli (rooster whistle) is a rare example of Finnish stoneware folk ceramics. Produced by Kermansavi Oy between the 1960s and 1980s, this charming rooster-shaped whistle reflects Finland’s mid-century pottery tradition, where utility and playful design meet.

The piece features a rich brown glaze on the front and top, contrasted by an unglazed clay back and base, highlighting the natural texture of the stoneware. The underside is stamped “Kerman savi Oy”, confirming its origin.
