Care Instructions:
**Before Use** - Thoroughly rinse the stone surface to remove dust, or wash it in the dishwasher. Let the stone dry completely. If desired, lightly oil the stone with cooking oil. Oiling darkens the stone, protects it, and enhances its color variations.
**Using the Soapstone Product** - The product is ready to use as is and performs best when heated or cooled. Heat the stone in an oven or with warm water, but never on the stove, other hot surfaces, or in the microwave. For cold applications, keep the stone in the freezer for at least a couple of hours before use. It can be stored in the freezer between uses.
