This handcrafted Dotterel bird (Keräkurmitsa in Finnish) is a striking example of Oiva Toikka’s imaginative glass art, produced at the renowned Nuutajärvi glassworks in Finland between 1997 and 2004. Featuring a soft opaque beige-brown body with greenish wing accents, a vivid clear blue head, and a yellow beak, the Dotterel is both playful and elegant—classic Toikka.
