An impressive and collectible Birds by Oiva Toikka “Räyskä” (Caspian Tern), produced in a numbered series between 1988–1992 at the legendary Nuutajärvi glass village in Finland. This striking seabird design is notable as one of Toikka’s early birds featuring the distinctive split tail.
The bird has a soft matte surface and is signed Oiva Toikka, Nuutajärvi Notsjö with edition number E 205/3000. A beautiful vintage example of Finnish art glass and a standout piece for any Toikka collection.
