New interpretation of an old classic. People in the North saw birds as symbols of good fortune, health and prosperity. In the spring, returning migrating birds brought with them the promise of summer and the many gifts of nature. Since birds could fly, they were believed to be messengers between humans and the gods. The Fortune Bird amulet is inspired by a piece of jewelry from the prosperous Viking era. Set safely in its nest, the Fortune Bird sings to bring us joy and faith in a happy tomorrow.
The bronze Fortune Bird amulet appeals to all friends of small and light jewelry, who take interest in intriguing details, powerful stories and beliefs from distant past. Wear long, short or inbetween, perhaps two or even three Amulets simultaneously. Gold-plated chain, adjustable length 40/45/50 cm. The pendant is delivered with a separate extension piece you can use to make the chain even longer, 55 or 60 cm. Spring ring clasp on both the chain and the extension.
