The Suomi Finland Knife is a symbol of Finnish pride and resilience, with a history that stretches back over 20 years. Originally crafted by Marttiini to commemorate Finland’s 80th year of independence in 1997, the knife underwent a design update in 2009. At the end of its handle, the Finnish Lion is cast in bronze, embodying the same spirit of Finnish perseverance that secured the nation’s independence. This emblem of strength is also printed on the knife’s sheath.
Known as the "Stamina Knife" (Sisupuukko in Finnish), this blade has been presented to Finnish athletes at multiple Olympic Games as a tribute to their extraordinary stamina and determination.
