Nature was a significant source of inspiration for Maija Isola throughout her career. Flowers in different styles were a frequently appearing motif in her designs year after year – in the expressive Ruukku (pot) pattern from 1970, she painted an inviting, undulating sea of flowers.
Made from acrylic-coated cotton, this placemat has a stain repellent finish on the top of the fabric. Thanks to the protective finish, it is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth.
