The Hilding dress is made of nicely draping lyocell in the Ulpu pattern. The dress has short kimono sleeves, and it features front and back central seams. The A-line dress has a relaxed fit.
Lily pads floating on the surface of water inspired Antti Kekki to design the Ulpu (water lily) pattern. His goal was to immortalize the outlines of lily pads and their movement as seen from below the surface. The large-scale abstract shapes of the pattern were created by cutting freely with scissors. The composition depicts the rhythm of aquatic plants, perfect in its imperfection.
