Kalevala Koru is a treasure house of striking jewelery motif's from the Viking Era (800-1050). On their trade trips to the east, the Vikings stopped off on the Finnish Coast to trade weapons and jewelry for fur. Kalevala has created replicas of some of these original pieces to form a very special jewelry collection.

This heart is based on the model of a Viking Era heart found in Pappilanmäki, Eura, in Southwestern Finland. The heart has always been a powerful symbol of love.
