About Us

Diana Milton and Mona Pitkanen, purchased the business in 1997 from the founder of the store, Tarmo Pihlaja.

Mona was born in Helsinki and still has many family ties in Finland.  Finnish is spoken both at home and at Finnport on a daily basis. Diana, a third generation Finlander, is also proud of her Finnish heritage.

We love the fact that we don't have to sell our products.... they sell themselves with their timeless beauty and design.  Not only do we carry Finnish products but we also sell many other Nordic and Scandinavian designers as well!
